Plant of the Week: Sprouting Broccoli, an easy Fall-Winter crop. You can separate the mini broccoli heads from leaves, sautee the leaves for quiche or add to you wok stir fry. Purple broccoli turns to green after cooking.

Plant of the Week: Native Blue Sage. This will grow tall and even taller if competing with Sunflowers, Goldenrod, or other tall plants. The good news is that you can prune it back to four feet or more/less over the summer and it will still look great come Fall.
