Plant of the Week: Native Persimmon. Missouri is about a month or so away from Persimmon Season. Check state park websites for information on whether you can harvest Persimmons and quantity. Persimmon trees are one of the seedlings available from Missouri Conservation’s Annual Tree Seedling Sale. Ordering begins September 2nd. Order early as they sell out fast.
